One of the recent surprises of Czech cinema, the outstanding drama The Unbeatable set in the world of para ice hockey, captivates audiences also thanks to its meticulously crafted sound design, including the clashes on the ice. The sound was handled by sound master Jiří Klenka, a recipient of Czech Lion Awards for the films Bouquet and Želary, as well as six other nominations.

Czech cinemas are currently entertaining and moving audiences with the film The Unbeatable, which is gathering very encouraging reviews. It has also resonated with viewers – on the Czech film database ČSFD.cz it is currently rated at 80 percent. Metro daily newspaper was particularly impressed by the film’s sound design and spoke about it with sound master Jiří Klenka, a two-time recipient of the Czech Lion Award.
